Welcome

Barbara McCulloch paints in an abstract expressionist style. Inspired most often by the landscape, she explores those experiences to express her sense of interconnectedness. Using various media keynoted by color, her work displays soft edges, overlapping forms, texture, often line and occasionally symbols to transmit that experience.» Bio

“My objective in painting is to so clearly express the sublime quality of my momentary experience within a landscape that the occasional person who has had a similar experience will be touched at a deeper level in response. My attempt at communication most certainly also requires the intuitive participation of the viewer for a successful completion.”
